If you do not do this, you will die a great deal and also you will end up screwing over your team! It is more that, Battlefield really requires you to play to the strengths of your class. That is not meant as a knock-on Call of Duty at all by the way. I usually refer to the Battlefield games as the thinking mans first person shooters. I thought each one was fun and exciting and think that it was a clever way to tell a story in the game. These are just three of the war stories that you will be playing through. It actually is 6 smaller stories that you play through and these are all very different.įor example, the first one has you being thrust into a battle that you are on the losing side of, you get to play as a guy in charge of a tank and you even get to play as a cocky pilot. Sure, some people do not care about the campaign in these games, but Dice really did an amazing job with this game. To say that the campaign in Battlefield 1 is epic is a massive understatement. While Battlefield V may not have quite lived up to expectations, this remains one of the best FPS games in years. Of course, the fact that Activision took us to space with their offering at the same time as this made people take extra notice of Battlefield 1. With Battlefield 1, Dice really did nail it! This is one of the best games ever made that is based on World War 1. I play on PC and still manage to find games very easily. You really cannot go wrong with either of these modes, but there are plenty of others that you can jump into as well. There is an impressive amount of game modes here, but my personal favorites are Deathmatch and Conquest. Battlefield 1 like the other games is a game where you really need to play a role if you want to help your team win. What I like about the multiplayer here is that when you pick your class you really need to embrace it. Battlefield 1 thankfully has a fantastic multiplayer and it is a multiplayer that I still play now. While the War Stories is great, we all know that the reason we keep playing these games for so long is the multiplayer. It really is quite amazing how good looking this game still is even a few years later. In the multiplayer, each map is full to the brim of little details.
It is not just the single player that looks great. It has a really “Michael Bay” kind of vibe in terms of the presentation and I mean that in a good way. This one though really is quite spectacular. Battlefield 1, in general, is a great looking game as pretty much anything Dice does is. I really liked how different the stories were from playing as a pilot who thinks they are the best ever to being in a battle where you are on the losing side! Rolling!Ī huge part of what really brings the War Stories to life is the presentation.
These are shorter stories, but they are very well done and have that Hollywood movie quality you would expect from a game in this series.
